A step by step guide explaining how to setup your Bitaxe and join the SR mining pool.
Join the revolution and grab a BitAxe from our preferred supplier Bitcoin Brabant.
shop nowYour package includes the pre-assembled Bitaxe miner, case, power adapter, Noctua fan, and exclusive Satoshi Radio Mining pin. Verify all components are present and ensure the fan is properly connected to the miner.
Connect the Bitaxe miner to a power outlet using the provided adapter.
Look for a WiFi network named "Bitaxe_XXXX" (where XXXX is a four-digit
number). Connect to this network
using your laptop or phone. A popup with a browser screen will appear, showing the Bitaxe dashboard.
Enter your SSID and Password of the WiFi network you want to connect your BitAxe to in the dashboard and
click save and restart your BitAxe.
After restart, check the IP address displayed on the Bitaxe's screen. Navigate to this IP address using your
laptop or phone browser. Go to settings in the dashboard. Scroll down to "Latest Firmware" and click on
"esp-miner.bin". A download will start.
After downloading, click on "Browse" under "Update Firmware".
Select
the downloaded file. Wait for the update to complete, then restart the miner (either by unplugging or
using
the soft restart option).
In the dashboard menu, click on settings. Fill in the following: Stratum URL
(pool.satoshiradio.nl), Stratum
Port (3333), Stratum User (your wallet address.worker name).
For example: bc1***************.bitaxe.
Enter the password in the Stratum Password field. There are no requirements. For example: 'X'.
It's crucial
to use a wallet address you own and control. Use a hardware wallet or at least save the seed words securely.
Click save, then click restart.
The Bitaxe should now start mining automatically. Check the dashboard: it should reach a hashrate of 550-650 GH/s.
